The Bulls Head Alton - Alton - Photo album

As we walked in, greeted with smiles and asking how we are. Such a warm welcome. No tables available as was fully booked. But let us have a table near the bar so we could eat. We had the chicken kebabs and really enjoyed them, lovely sticky toffee pudding to finish. Decent choice of booze and
Googled best pub near Alton towers for a cheeky bit of scran on the way home and this was showing as the best one. I’ve got to say I was very impressed with the service, however, the waiters customer service voice did sound a bit fake. Nevertheless it was evident he was very good at his job. Our f
Visited when staying at the Towers. Its a traditional old fashioned style pub. The food was very good indeed and had clearly been prepared by someone who cares. Portion size was generous, even for kids. We all enjoyed our food. If you are on a trip to Alton Towers and want a break from the mass pro
Quaint place with a warm and friendly feel. Modern drinks and food menu with just about anything for everyone (both alcoholic and non alcoholic) and a great à la carte dining menu. Spotlessly clean & distinguished hospitality.
We decided to pop in for lunch one afternoon as it had been recommended by a friend. It turned out to be the release of a new menu that exact day so things were a bit up in the air but the staff were really accommodating. My partner had the pulled pork on flat bread and he thoroughly enjoyed it. I
The pork half ribs with slaw and chips were perfectly cooked. Unfortunately, the chicken wings were really dry. Cheese stuffed peppers were nice. Staff friendly and attentive.
Visited on 8/10 after a visit to Splash Landings. Fantastic little pub. Catered for a large group, 23 of us. Nothing was too much trouble. Staff, food and surroundings 5 star. Would highly recommend. We will be back.
A fantastic meal at the Bull's Head. We booked last minute on a Friday night for 12 people and they were so accommodating. They seated us upstairs so essentially we had a private area, they put music on for us and although we were out of sight the staff were very attentive, friendly and helpful. Tha
Nice staff Good service Great food We went there last week with my partner and our 7 children with no reservations. They’ve been able to accommodate us and deliver good service
One of the best meals I’ve ever had and easily the best pizza I’ve ever eaten. Phenomenal food, and such lovely, generous and prompt service. An issue in the booking system had meant they didn’t know about our table for ten, but they immediately made it work and we ended up with the large upstairs r
Came here whilst we were visiting Alton Towers. Had a great evening, the food and service was top quality. The restaurant area was lovely. Will definitely come back next time we're in the area.
Awesome Pub, land lord was so welcoming and nothing was a problem. We arrived early and they fitted us in for food. The food and service was excellent. We will definitely be back. Thank you to all the staff.
Such a lovely place to stay, the room is very modern and comfortable everything you’d need for a weekend stay in our case,we ate at the bulls head for our evening meal Aswell and it was lovely, would 100% recommend to stay here to anyone. Everyone was warm and welcoming. Will definitely be staying h
What a find, this place will definitely become our after Alton Towers tea stop before heading home. Food was amazing and very reasonably priced for the type of food (gastro pub). The cask ale IPA they had on was very good and the décor was very quirky. Staff were very friendly but knocking down a s
We dropped in here on a Saturday afternoon. Must have been a quiet spell. Food arrived quickly and the staff were friendly. We got the halloumi kebabs, and they are quite massive, tasty and fresh. The fries are good, too. The onion rings were a bit bland. Nice outdoor area, very peaceful spot.
Arrived without a reservation and got the distinct impression that the young man working the bar was annoyed that we were there. He did (begrudgingly?) find us a seat. The food was fine. Maybe I misread the whole thing, but I could swear something was amuck with the guy.
This is a lovely pub with cosy country side atmosphere. Interior is really great, it was recently renovated. I love the place, the staff is good too. You can't eat here yet but they starting it in spring. The only complaint is... They have absolutely delicious nuts which they sell lose but they cost
