Balchao Restaurant

The food, atmosphere and service are all good. Vegetarian dishes can be made into vegan on request. The beetroot poriyal and kolhapuri chicken are flavoursome. The warm service and good cooking by the chefs will make me want to return to try other dishes. Hope they will expand the menu to have vegan dishes.

We had a table for 10 people for late lunch. Mr Pathak was an extremely welcoming host who made us feel at home. He recommended lots of dishes for us based on our individual tastes which were all excellent. The food came very quickly as well. We would definitely come back, perhaps for dinner next time to experience a different atmosphere.

Went here last night (Saturday 11th feb)for a second time and again wasn't disappointed Starters quite small portions but not sure that's because we were on a Groupon deal 🤷🏻‍♂️ All food was very flavoursome and staff were very friendly Someone commented on the temperature of the restaurant we found it ok. All in all very nice different Indian cuisine ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Balchão was a nice experience and a beautiful surprise for my birthday. We booked quite early so we had the restaurant for ourselves which meant the service was fantastic. The food was full of flavour and the portions were generous (so much so we had to take some away as we couldn't finish it). The sea bass dish was one of the tastiest I've ever had. At the end I have received a beautiful cake and even the chefs came up to the table to sing Happy Birthday!

I had the pleasure of visiting this hidden gem for a small business dinner. This place is simply vibrant and stunning. The decor and ambience was remarkable and made the whole dining experience well worth it. This was definitely fusion food at its finest! The food was on point and I was impressed with the waiters knowledge of all the dishes and his recommendations for each of us in our group with different taste buds. Lovely to see real chefs with great culinary experience and a real understanding of various modern and traditional cooking methods and ingredients. I will definitely be back very soon.

Myself and my husband stopped in a local place nearby. Thought we would stop by this restaurant after hearing good reviews by friends. We were not disappointed. The food speaks for itself (please see pictures) the staff couldn’t do enough for us, very attentive! Very reasonably priced for what we received! Couldn’t recommend it more for anyone staying nearby! Also not too far off the airport. We will be back for certain!
