Nice staff, but the hotel lets them down. Cant give a star for food, didn’t have any. Restaurant closes by 845 ‘it’s a no’ for a basic fish and chips even though it says food is served till 9pm, Google (here) says 930pm …. It should say get …

After reading negative reviews on here, I wasn't sure what to expect but I was really impressed by Townfields. It's not cheap but it's a proper restaurant and all such places cost these days. The point is, it's worth it. …

We had a 3 course meal here as a family of four during our overnight stay. The restaurant is nice and the service was excellent. We opted for classics such as fish & chips, gammon and chocolate fudge cake desserts. All was faultless.
