Cracking little country pub with a great choice of drinks. Friendly landlord and locals. Large screen TVs outside in a covered patio area with live football showing. Looking forward to returning. 5*****

We went on a Sunday afternoon, was quite just how I wanted it after a few hours shopping. Friendly, very relaxing and very warm as it was a cold day. Would recommend. There's a pool table, dart board. Not sure about food as we were sat in the bar.

Only stopped for one drink as we passed this place on our walk. The beer was excellent and there was a lovely sunny beer garden at the back. There was a group of very friendly regulars and dogs are welcome. It was much better that the outside appearance would suggest as I have previously been put off by all the sky sports signs.

Fabulous little olde worlde pub with a good selection of drinks, not sure about any food, we didn't want to eat. Seemed like a locals pub but very welcoming all the same and best of all reasonable prices. One drawback, no carpark, you have to park in the square, however, I had no trouble getting a space.

My first time here, and my first time at any pub in a verrrrrrrrrry long time (thanks to Covid!). It was very well organised in terms of keeping people as safe as possible in the current pandemic. Orders could be made via an App which you're invited to download as you enter the premises. The app worked brilliantly, and I enjoyed a very tasty half pint of Buttybach. The service wasn't fast, but that's because the pub garden was so full and drinks were having to be poured and then delivered to each table. However it also didn't feel like we waited that long for our order to arrive either - I've waited longer in a queue at a bar. We'll definitely be returning to this pub, but next time I'm going to be ordering a full pint of beer 🍺. Cheers.

When Alexander of Macedonia was 33 he cried salt tears, as there were no worlds left to conquer. I was 39 and The Swan was shut due to Covid. Great Pub, brilliant atmosphere, great beer, lovely big garden. Oh and the landlords OK too.

The Swan has changed hands a few times over the last several years, however the latest landlord has settled in well and is making a good go of it. He is a local guy who is very friendly and is very much invested on the place. It's a cosy pub, with good beer and a nice atmosphere.
