Lovely pub just off the main roads. Called for a drink and had we known they did food would have chosen to eat there. What we saw looked lovely. Nice out door seating area. Atmospheric inside and friendly staff. Note they don't do food on a Monday so we didn't get chance to go back
This was our first visit since the ferry changed hands.
The biggest change for us was the food.
The food is different but still good! We went on a Saturday, so can't comment on the Sunday roast but we tried a fair sample of the plates.
For starters, we had a soup and a pate. Both went down very well
I was camping in the Wellesbourne last month and came across the Ferry. I visited most if not all the pubs in the area and this was my favourite by far. It is a lovely traditional pub in a great setting. Friendly staff and stupendous real ale. There were 2 local beers, both in great condition. High
