Amazing place. Chef went out of his way to prepare vegan and gluten free options for me which were incredible, he also came out to have a chat and ask me how the food was, which I really appreciate. All the staff here were friendly and welcoming and the whole restaurant has a beautiful vibe. Some of the best food we had in the lakes.
My partner & I enjoyed a wonderful dinner here last weekend. Everything we ordered was expertly prepared without a lot of fanfare or pomp (the lamb was especially delicious). Table service was friendly and approachable, if anything just a tad slow. I wouldn’t normally complain about them being slow but we were reminded twice before seating that they would need the table back in 2 hours. It’s discomforting to be rushed and then made to wait.
Do make reservations and make them far in advance. You will not be disappointed with the food!
Beautiful food. Great service, lovely touches with offering freshly made bread and a taster before the meal. Scallops were delicious and the guinea hen was amazing!

Everything was 5 stars. It was our wedding anniversary so decided a treat was required. This exceeded our expectations. We chose to go with the wine pairing for each course and thoroughly enjoyed them all.
I would definitely eat at Kysty again. We had a great night and we so well looked after by the staff. The food was truly incredible.

The staff were attentive and friendly and the atmosphere was good, however the food looked great, but was a bit bland. I had cod, my partner had cabbage dish and both were quite watery as if ?over steamed. The dishes didn't have much of the sauce with them and so it felt quite repetitive in taste - me and my partner both thought the same. I did tell the staff ahead of time it was my partners birthday, but apart from one waitress saying happy birthday they didn't do anything else -I don't expect much but something would be nice from a restaurant aiming for high end.

This is a hidden gem. The ambiance is lovely and the decor, tableware and furniture was modern rustic and charming. The food was out of this world. The amuse-bouche were delightful and a lovely touch. All courses were absolutely delicious, so well presented and all components perfectly complimented each other. It was a lovely relaxed atmosphere, not pretentious, but classy. The staff were friendly, explained each course well and were attentive. I wholeheartedly recommend a visit and can't wait to go back again.
