Wandering around Ambleside looking for somewhere to do a homemade sandwich... This place absolutely nailed it. Great value. Great service. Great lunch box. I'm glad I don't live closer or I'd never make my own lunch again!
It's important to note that this is a little place to grab a delicious, convenient, budget-friendly bite. It's not a 5 star restaurant and the food we ordered was excellent value for the money. We stopped here on our way up to the waterfalls. The staff was accommodating, friendly and professional. T
I ordered Panini with mozzarella, pesto and tomato and chocolate milkshake. Food was tasty and freshly made. Affordable prices: panini £3, milkshake £2.25. I recommend this place.
Nice staff, good selection, helpful, flexible, fair prices. I’ve been going to this shop for over 30 years - must mean they are doing something right. 😀

Plenty of meat on my grilled bun, reasonably priced for the area. How greggs is still in business is beyond me. Greggs is always stale bread with the tiniest rations of meat.
Visited here twice over the weekend, we had breakfast and lunch and both were absolutely perfect! The sausage and apple sauce bap is unbelievable! The menu is huge and there are so many options. They make a mean toastie too. We can’t wait to come back to Ambleside and get our lunch here again.
Top tip, try the bacon & egg on a soft bun. You will not regret it plus they do really good salad boxes. No regrets here and thanks

Had sandwiches for a picnic today everything was made fresh and sandwiches are tuneable to different tastes. Pastries are also delicious. The best sandwich shop in Ambleside five star.
Went here both days whilst on a weekend away and we all had great sandwiches and cakes at good value. Far better than some of the popular bakeries. Will go again next time we visit .
