Absolutely delicious, cannot fault it at all. The people were really friendly, the place is gorgeous and the food is absolutely amazing. Would eat here again and again and again 😁

Outstanding food, a wonderful dining experience. Had the Sea Trout followed by stick toffee pudding, which was presented as well as it tasted. Kids enjoyed thier meals (sausage and mash) and ate every bite of it, and it was a good portion. We prebooked for 6pm online and all was good when we arrived

Came for my husband's birthday dinner. Food was fantastic. I had fish & chips and the brownie. Both very delicious and decent size portions. Very dog friendly. In fact it was the best food highlight of our trip to the lakes.

Went to Sheila’s Cottage after reading reviews on Google have to say you won’t be disappointed. Portions are very generous and the food is tasty, would recommend this restaurant and would definitely visit again if in Ambleside
