Fantastic stop for lunch after our walk. Coffee tasted very good and the food was all fresh and very nice. Service was quick no complaints
Great cumbrian breakfast, definitely gives you a warm belly for a cold autumn day! Asked for an extra side portion of Hash Browns which they said yes to for an extra charge, which I was happy to pay for as they are truly lovely hash browns, crispy and fluffy. The hot chocolate may be one of the best hot chocolates in the UK, really chocolatey and all the trimmings if you ask for it. The pancakes are great for a sweet breakfast. Very happy with the speed of service, even when busy, and serving with a smile and patience. Very happy to start our holiday here, and end it here as well.
Had some lunch here after walking from Patterdale. Food and service was great. Lots of windows, very bright and airy.

It's quite pricey but is honestly about standard for what you pay in the area.

Lovely and spacious coffee shop with fine food. I wanted to try their mulled wine and mince pie (perhaps the best price in town too), but sadly they don't serve them for breakfast 😃 Nice choice of pastries
Giving this 5 stars as the drinks (great white and caramel macchiato) were both excellent. The scone was also great and the apple pie very nice. Prices are in line with the region and service is super. Will come again.

Popped in for coffee and cake. Not disappointed! Both were excellent. The staff were very efficient clearing tables when customers left but didn't pressure anyone to leave.
Good quality coffee and variety of dessert and pastries selections. The tables are not pretty clean though.
