My boyfriend and I visited for a weekend stay in February. Lovely location and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was spotless and well equipped. We had a fantastic meal in the restaurant that night. Beautiful walks around the area outside the hotel. Breakfast was fab.

Great room for the night. Superior double was.large. Quiet as well. Staff were lovely and attentive. Great location for walking in the Langdales. Also has the Talbot bar attached for food which was really good.
They had closed early because it was a very quiet night, but the friendly staff were still happy to serve us so we could get a drink in the Talbot bar after our bike ride. Excellent ales too. Many thanks for your hospitality.
