Kieran has been an absolute star.
Very friendly and accomodating.
The Boss or Manager however seemed to be unfriendly and grumpy as he treated him not very well.
Nice cozy place. But please treat your staff with respect.

The staff are so friendly and great service, I went in for a coffee with my puppy and she loves all the attention and treats they give her, really nice cozy atmosphere, foods tasty and good price. Definitely recommend!!

Dropped in on a warm summers day for a quick refreshment, and enjoyed a nice, well-kept pint of Tribute. Unfortunately, this was just a flying visit and I did not have time to have lunch, but the menu looked appetising. I'm in the area again in a couple of months' time, and will look forward to visiting with a view to having a meal also.

Nice modern pub….. quiet atmosphere with coffee club attached. Outdoor areas and parking at near…. Convenient to railway station if you’re waiting for someone or a train….

Very very very good pub. Friendly waiter, amazing food, homely and stylish at the same time! Can only recommend, we all enjoyed our food on the Chess Valley walk. Going to gone back!

We had such a pleasant experience here! It was very quiet when we entered (as a lunch stop while doing the Chess Valley walk) so we didn’t have high hopes, but we were greeted by friendly staff and seated. The food was quick and delicious! We were all very happy with what we got and the staff were attentive and friendly. A really nice pub, with an excellent menu that more than lives up to expectations. I wish we lived closer so we could come back again!

One of the better pubs locally for food. it is a small menu but very big portions of food is fresh, the person behind bar clearly thought I was going to do a runner and not pay she clearly was keeping an eye on me

The food is fabulous,. The steak platter is really impressive and we really enjoyed it. The staff were very helpful and can’t do enough to help you. I would definitely eat here again. Lovely atmosphere too.

Went to visit for my sisters’ engagement party, the bar staff were absolutely lovely ( Kieran, Hope, Millie and Hope) and the drinks were so amazing. The building was amazing, and everyone was as so thoughtful and lovely. Thank you so much for all the bar staff that was looking after us and thank you so much. Amazing venue with amazing staff xx

Visited on Saturday for a quick drink, returned Sunday for their roast. Very friendly bar staff, reasonably priced drinks and the Sunday roast was good. At the times we were there, it was a bit empty, so can't really comment accurately on the atmosphere...
