This little gem of a cafe was a fantastic blast from the past! The staff were super friendly and welcoming and the food was delicious. Also, if you want a proper, builders brew mug of tea, those is most definitely the place to come!!!!

I arrived in Amesbury last night, I really needed to eat something but everything was closed... At 10pm 😮 So I really need to have a huge breakfast. I came across the Friar Tuck cafe and ordered the "biggest ever" - 2 bacon, 2 sausages, 2 eggs, 4 hash browns, mushroom, beans, tomatoes, black pudding, toast and fried bread. This gigantic meal was devoured in 15 minutes. Partly because of my hunger but also because the breakfast was unbelievably nice. The service was quick and the staff were really friendly. If I'm ever in Amesbury Town I'll certainly go back and tackle the 'biggest ever ' again 😊

Typical greasy spoon cafe. Decor is a little dated, although there are plenty of tables. Food came quite quick. Place could do with being a little tidier/ cleaner, but then again, you get what you pay for Very reasonably priced. Was quite busy when we went, so a few tables were piled up with dirty cups, plates and cutlery. Overall good and would go again.

Food ok cost ok, I went quite earlly so only 3 costumers in there, maybe play some low music to create a better atmosphere. I also think if you are buying a set breakfast, you should provide free tea/coffee with the meal and not charge as an extra. But I will visit again. All in all not the best in the Amesbury area.

A great little cafe, everything you could want of a traditional cafe. The fried bread and hash browns were both particularly good.

One of the best fry ups that I've had in a long while. Well worth a visit.

The Monster breakfast is worth pulling off the A303 for. Well cooked with no fancy unwanted thrills. Nice and clean too. What's not to like 😁👍.

Great place, 'proper' greasy cafe but the food is far from greasy and was a delight and needed after staying at the Stonehenge campsite. Lovely staff too. Will be returning
