We were greeted instantly and with enthusiasm by a lovely looking gentleman with dark wavey hair who directed us to a table. We were advised that there were no chicken and mushroom pies which didn't affect me as I was a vegan and proud and of course, had to tell everyone.
We went to the bar to order and I asked loudly for 2 chicken and mushroom pies for a joke, which was met with a gorgeous smile, after putting my actual order in the blonde lady serving us said "buzzing" to which I replied "I'm not a wasp". This made her and her colleague facially climax with maximum laughter and I was then offered to cook my food because I was funny. I gave them a staff tip of 72 pence.
As I played around with my mac and cheese I was reminded of my first date.. but tried not to get an erection under the table.. tried.

What a lovely evening last night great service food was piping hot and the staff went above and beyond. Ricky the mad Irish man was so lovely, friendly and extremely welcoming. He made my lad chuckle a few times my son is autistic and ordering dinner wasn't a problem to ask for items not to be on the plate etc. Ricky was laughing at the fact my son had the chocolate mania but somehow managed to finish off my chocolate fudge cake 😋.
Booking a table is definitely recommended as it does get busy. However we took pot luck and were lucky enough to get seated and served rather quickly.
The wait for food wasn't long at all and we were checked on by staff regularly.
Good value for money and we will be back soon.

Had Rump steak which came with chips and peas. Peppercorn sauce, onion rings with Mac’n’ cheese side and grilled halloumi side

The food was absolutely delicious with plenty of choice. The staff were incredibly friendly and super helpful. Although it wasn't expensive, it wasn't as cheap as similar chain pubs.

I stopped here for a meal on my way home to south Hampshire. The staff (particularly Mhairi and Megan) were incredibly welcoming, engaging and full of Va Va Voom and laughter. Incredibly easy going and helpful with all things.
I passed on my compliments to the manager (a mad Irishman 😂 called Ricky) directly and he is absolutely lovely.
This pub has everything going for it and it’s mostly down to the staff and its amazing landlord.

Went for a girly catch up with a friend and we both had the all day breakfast sat out in their lovely garden in the sun!
Food was sooooo good and both of them for £11.49 you just cannot go wrong! Staff are all so friendly and nothing is to much trouble!
Have never had a bad meal there and it's my go to place. Will be back soon!

Went here as a family of 4 adults and 5 children on a Sunday lunchtime.
Booking is recommended the pub gets very busy and we saw people be turned away as they didn't have a booking.
When we went to order we were told the food would be about a 45 minute wait. We said we didn't mind but we were glad we were told before we ordered.
We ordered a myriad of things from a roast dinner to a build your own burger, a pie and 2KG of chicken wings.
Food came quicker than anticipated and was hot and lovely! All of the food was great and I have to say it was better than I presumed it would be for the prices.
The service was good and the bar staff all lovely, kind and helpful.
The ambience of the pub is also lovely actually. Nice atmosphere with the main pub bit separate to the restaurant bit. Nice atmosphere and nicely decorated.
We will 100% be back!

I'm not one for taking the time to write reviews but this place really deserves it. We tried to book a table on line but there was no availability, so my wife called and they found us a table for 2 for our little date night, much to our delight. The restaurant is always busy and it is not hard to see why, the food is great, good quality and always cooked well. We have never had a bad meal there (and my wife complains about everywhere!). The staff informed us of an hours wait on food which we was happy to wait for, the food was cooked to perfection and the staff are very friendly. The price and quality of food is unchallenged in Andover and surrounding areas. We highly recommend this place, you truly will not be disappointed. Thank you for fitting us in.

We popped in after work, and although it was busy we got a table by the bar. The mango chilli chicken kebab was cooked to perfection followed by chocolate fudge cake. Our server Ben was brilliant. Ricky and the regulars invited us to play a few games of darts. Lovely food and great service, will definitely eat here again!
