Imagine a tiny, cozy cottage, a warm peat fire, lovely owner- server and hearty food. That is Carrick Cottage café. I had been walking in the mountains and needed food, hadn't had the chance to visit before but what a place! I had the sourdough toast, bacon and avocado. Amazing. Also, really good coffee.
Just Amazing. You have to go there if you are around.

What a gem!! This Cafe has the feel, the food, and some of the most lovely people!! We had two different vegetarian breakfast options and they were delicious! And then the pie!!Highly recommend!!

A quaint wee cottage and gazebo arrangement on a hill overlooking the Irish Sea with views to Wales and the Isle of Mann. Well worth a visit for a decent bit of dinner.
Really lovely food. Excellent place for a bite to eat after a good walk. Staff very dog friendly which is always a bonus. Highly recommend the French Toast, bacon and syrup. 😋. Coffee also great.👍

Delightful little spot on the mountain side, which is also pet friendly! We stayed the previous night in their cottage which was just a stones throw away and had our breakfast here in the morning. Great varied menu and reasonably priced.

Very cosy little cottage. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Wide range of food and the chocolate fudge cake is absolutely delicious. A must after a trek through the Mournes
