Castle Stalker View Cafe - Appin - Photo album

Coming from a country where Scones are a staple of any fair or show run by the country women’s association, I can say I was in heaven when I bit in to their fruit scone. Fresh from the oven with fresh cream and jam was the best morning wake up meal I could have wished for. The ladies are all lovely
Amazing cafe, all home cooked and fabulous quality. Gift shop is well stocked, toilets clean and tidy and there’s a stunning view from the cafe. We received a lovely welcome, the dogs too! Definitely worth a stop off.
Lovely and bright coffee shop and great fruit scones with homemade raspberry jam. Great views of Stalker castle from the viewpoint
Cappuccino and lemon cake to tide me over to dinner. The selection of pastries was limited but they offer a variety of coffees. The wait staff were friendly and the service was quick.
Dogs welcome! Thank you. great views too. Kitchen closes at 3.30pm.
Lovely little stop off point and very popular. Was advised when we went in that they were short staffed and service was taking longer than normal, which was nice to be advised but we were in no rush and we really didn't have to wait long at all. Food all looked very tempting, we had drinks and scone
Stop here for the castle view, and stay for the delicious food. I had a large latte and a bacon and egg breakfast roll. It was a delicious breakfast. My wife had a home made fruit scone that she enjoyed and shortbread that she shared with me. Delicious. Thank you.
Had a brief stroll round the gift shop. Didn't buy anything but took plenty of good pics & got myself a cappuccino at the tea/coffee snack bar outside. Was spending my final day with my buddies club group at Glencoe before heading back home to Glasgow. Beautiful view outside with nice green hills, r
Stopped off for a coffee and cake while cycling from Oban to Fort William. Excellent friendly service and all the cakes are home made on the premises.
Stopped off here on my way north to the Hebrides and what a delight. The atmosphere and interior of the cafe was great and the views to Castle Stalker despite a wet day were really good, just a short walk from the cafe entrance. I had the soup which was a delicious tomato and red pepper.....and a go
Super spot to stop off for some light refreshments/ food. Selection of toasted sandwiches, fries, cakes etc & great coffee ☕ served from the outside cabin. Inside & outside seating with excellent views of Castle Stalker.
Great breakfast rolls! We had black pudding and potato scone and would definitely recommend Their scones are always delicious and coffee was made very well from their outside cart
Nice place to stop for food, which was fresh and tasted delicious, small gift shop was good, both had nice friendly staff. Parking hit and miss with few cars just stopping for pictures of castle stalker. Least buy a coffee each keep the business going.
Lovely surroundings, great views and excellent food. Photo doesn't do the burger justice but it was freshly made and really tasty!! Nice friendly people as well.
Tasty, fresh, home cooked food. I recommend the burger, delicious and very filling.
It’s nice to see someone with the commercial nous to take advantage of something and the viewpoint had a good sized parking area, a good cafe and a nice little shop as well as indoor and outdoor seating. We walked down the hill to see the view – another castle that I’ve never seen before without gre
Had an excellent coffee with bacon and egg sandwich for breakfast. Staff were super friendly and helpful. There are picnic benches if you want to sit in the sun, I could actually see Castle Stalker from where I sat, or there are spaces inside the gift shop if the weather is not so good. I highly rec
