Rang late to have an evening meal for two adults and our dog.
Staff were extremely helpful even helping with directions and parking.
Location is ideal next to the river, very warm and welcoming.
The food was outstanding. The steaks were the best we've had in a long time, even the sides.
That good I asked where they buy their steaks from, no surprise, an excellent local butcher, just love when businesses buy local.
We bought some the next day the quality was fantastic.
The Crown and cushion is an ideal place to stay and eat.
I really enjoyed this venue. We went on Sunday for our lunch. Didn't book ahead and were told they had no spaces left, but they managed to squeeze us in! If recommend booking in advance. The food was lovely, best beef I've had in ages. The service was brilliant and there was a great range of food and drinks on offer.
What an amazing place. I only stayed one night in the loft, and it was incredible. It was tidy, clean, and warm. I am quite tall so the ceilings and lights were low at points. The pub below was also really good. The staff were friendly, also dog friendly, so there were lots of cute dogs around. The breakfast was included and had a nice selection. I would definitely recommend the crown and cushion inn.
Staff were lovely, and the atmosphere was very friendly and pleasant. Just had drinks and scones which were well made. Everything was good. we wished we had a meal as food looked lovely.

Booked in for a Sunday dinner. They were very welcoming and made such a fuss of our dog.

Recently had a nights stay with our dog. We had a lovely stay, staff very friendly and helpful,food was really good,breakfast was great too. We had a comfortable nights sleep. Could not ask for anything more.
All the staff were really friendly, especially when the river threatened to flood. Sandbags and information were offered and nothing was too much trouble.
The apartments we were in were very well appointed and easy to use and relax in. The walk-in showers were lovely and the really big bath sheets hit the spot!
Parking permits were provided and meals were available at the pub.
Nice, relaxed atmosphere. Staff were attentive and polite. The food was reasonably priced, well presented, and absolutely delicious.

Wonderful, warm welcome to thus dog-friendly hotel. Large, en-suite rooms, spotlessly clean, good breakfasts with a wide range of food.
Stopped off for dinner. Really nice food at a fair price.. Surprisingly very busy for a Wednesday night. Good atmosphere.
