The welcome provided was excellent.
The fees to play were reasonable.
This is an old golf club set on a sheep farm in high moorland.
The greens are really good and each is protected by a small fence to keep sheep off.
The fairways are wide but the wind driving across makes it tric

This is just incredible, solid old fashioned golf. Very high quality windswept fine grasses, the greens are beautiful.

Very welcoming clubhouse. Beautiful landscape with pristine greens. Absolute premium placed on precision with the wedges and good green reading. Some very trick blind shots make it a challenge for all golfing abilities.
The best course in Cumbria and a great place to live!

Catering and staff were excellent the whole club atmosphere was very relaxing and nice, definitely worth a visit
