Stumbled across this 17th century gem quite by chance whilst out for a drive. Initially only wanted a quick drink but ended up staying and buying dinner. The staff were lovely, really friendly and welcoming. The food was homemade,very tasty, piping hot and a good size. The icing on the cake was the

Visited on a Wednesday evening. The menu is limited but the food and service were good. The portions are very generous.

Came here today for the first time since the new owners have taken over. Lovely welcome, beautiful pub, well priced. Will be back for sure. Bar maid was very accommodating and friendly.
We had an excellent lunch in this lovely old village pub. Staff were very friendly, pub was immaculately clean and the food was prompt and excellent quality and value. The Posh Fish Finger Sandwich is a winner!!
Recently taken over and now, well worth a visit. Wonderful welcome from the staff and food was really beautifully cooked. Great atmosphere.
Came here for a Sunday lunch with family. The Roast was perfect, as was the Roast Yorkie Wrap. Puddings were delicious and all generous in size. Will certainly be back when we’re in the area again! Plus, Rosie is a great addition to the bar!
