Cioccolato Espresso

May looks small from the outside but there’s a lovely tea room and space out the back. The food is ok, everything had a bit of a sweet taste for me which isn’t my thing but if you like that then you will probably like the dishes here. The drinks on the other hand are great, and the coffee is good too. Staff were good to us and helped us to put together a few tables - I think there’s better food in the village but it’s a great place to meet a mate for a coffee/drink!

Really enjoyed the food, everything was delicious! We ordered smoked salmon with potato, brie and brisket burger and Avocado on toast. Drinks are Mango Smoothie, banana smoothie and Choc banana protein shake- all tasted yummy! Mango smoothie was made using some watermelon juice which overpowered the mango taste but I liked it all the same 😊

I loved the little laneway, and the food was great. They said right off the bat that the food would be at least 15 minutes. Gotta be happy when they tell you the truth like that. So why four stars… they made that fatal mistake that quite a few cafes make; when you order a large latte, or a large hot chocolate they heat the drink for the same amount of time as they do with a standard coffee or hot chocolate. I get it, it’s probably an ‘autopilot’ thing, however it annoys me when the drink comes out like warm. It happened on both our skinny latte and the hot chocolate, so it wasn’t a one off. Anyway, the brisket was good, careful of breathing back on your first bite… wooooo yeah, that sweet and sour type tasting sauce hit the back of the throat and you’ll need a drink pretty fast. (Maybe that why they leave the drink Luke warm 😊) Anyway, we’d go back, however, next time we’ll say ‘extra hot on the large drinks’ and hope they don’t burn the coffee or chocolate.

It was one of those days where we would just pick a Cafe. And it was an excellent choice! We came about 30 minutes before they closed and ordered our almond cappuccinos. I was pleasantly surprised that while the barista was wrapping things out, she still made a delicious, chocolatey, cap! This Cafe is high on my ranking! The staff members were so friendly, too, even though they were keen to wrap things up. We love the ambient! The alleyway sitting areas with plenty of plants. Highly recommended and we'll be back!

Was so looking forward to eating here for breakfast (6.30am) but the experience just didn’t happen. Walked in seemed to be very unorganised, no chef so no breakfast, with cabinet food only, which was more mid morning affair you have with coffee. No mind went down to Cheeky Boy Espresso and got the experience I was looking for, it was fantastic. Service was first class, breakfast and coffee amazing🤩 know where I will be going from now on.

Just had lunch with my cousin. Both ordered risotto. Tasted dry and no flavour. We both could not eat it. My cousin complained and said it tasted like it was cooked yesterday and you reheated and added water to try and make it creamy. The chef said they could not lie….yes reheated from yesterday. No offer of anything to compensate not being able to eat the meal and leaving hungry. I am a local….never ever again.
