Applecross Walled Garden - Applecross - Photo album

Amazing day out at Applecross Walled Garden. The garden itself although small is packed to the brim with fruit and veg and lots of interesting shrubs and flowers. Beautifully kept paths and seating areas. We had lunch at the restaurant which was absolutely delicious, everything tasted so fresh, its
What a lucky find! I do hope you take the time to stop and eat or even just freely browse the garden. The food and people are lovely! It might help visitors to know: nothing outside really tells you if it’s open, and the closed gate often catches people stood before it looking for a sign. Similarly,
Absolutely delicious dinner. We went a bit mad and had; Chicken Tikka Skewers, Lamb, Pork Belly (our favourite), and the Meatballs, as well as the Patatas Bravas and Mixed Roast Veg sides. The homemade bread was gorgeous. Finished with Eton Mess and Chocolate Mousse. Can’t recommend enough!
Literally in a walled garden on the grounds of an estate. The food was fresh and delicious, and the service was excellent. Reservations are recommended.
This place is magical! I cannot say enough good things about it. From the friendly staff to the beautiful ambiance to the delicious food...this was the BEST lunch stop we could have hoped for. Their tapas menu has such a variety of items and I enjoyed everything we ordered. Here is what we ordered s
Scallop and squid was delicious. We had 3 sharing plates and 2 sides for two, and a cheesecake to celebrate my birthday. Thanks for the lovely and warm service!
What a gem of a place! We had a delicious feast made up of many of the small plates on offer, hard to choose but my favourites were the chicken skewers and the mac & cheese 🤤 The staff were so welcoming and friendly, The garden itself is beautiful and worth a wander around (though it was hard to mov
Amazing food in an even more amazing place, big garden beautifully maintained. We tried the fish and chips with the salmon linguine that were really good. If you want to try some gin try the raasay isle one with a splash of tonic. If i return to applecross i'll go back there
This place was a real find. They do lovely tapas and we ordered far too may. But they boxed the excess up for us to take away. Staff were lovely and the surrounding gardens are wonderful. They encourage you to check availability through Facebook but we rang them and got a table for the same evening.
Lovely food served in a beautiful location, book a table to be sure you get in.
Several vegan and vegeterian options. Lovely place. Great service.
Beautiful place, a little fraught, with staff doing their best to fulfill customer needs, but great. Enjoyed thoroughly and would suggest it for anyone in Applecross.
Such a Dreamy place for a home cooking styled meal! We were delighted to eat here 2 out of the 3 nights we stayed in the area. The staff were so lovely and warm, the food was delicious, and the ambience was so cute and romantic. Totally recommend after a day of hiking, driving and or just because.
Beautiful Resturant and garden. I would recommend making a reservation the place get packed really quick. If it was not for the locals I wouldn't have found this space and was lucky to get a table. The staff is a very friendly bunch, and the service was really quick. After dining its good to have wa
Walking into the garden you don't feel as though it's just a restaurant experience. The beautiful garden the restaurant sits in was gorgeous and made it feel like more than just a lunch stop. The highland cow burger and the fish and chips were huge hits for several of our party of eight. Thanks so m
Beautiful gardens, a real asset to the area. Food in the cafe was delicious and it was real nice to be eating the gardens produce. Good vegetarian and vegan options. Aside from the fresh food the cafe was unfortunately lacking. The cake was badly presented and did not look fresh and the orange juice
Incredible place. Really fab food and atmosphere and dog friendly!
A lovely hidden gem. We loved the garden itself, very pretty, yet left a little wild in places. The cafe on site is fantastic. We popped in intending to have a coffee after a hearty bacon roll earlier in the day. The coffees were fantastic-some of the best of our trip. Whilst enjoying them in the su
Beautiful setting, tucked away en route to Applecross Path. A friendly bunch. Welcomed like locals. Amazing home cooked food from the garden. Organic. Rich in flavour. A gift shop and garden centre (small) on site. And great coffee too. Perfect for lunch or dinner or a quick coffee before you carry
