Review The Gasket - Appley Bridge

Really nice, unusual venue; basically a modded shipping container! Nice range of snacks and drinks, friendly service and clearly established as a favourite place for a stop off for local bikers. Absolutely loved it, and also being asked by one of the other motorcyclists to move my bike as the chrome tank was blinding him in the brilliant sunshine! A great place for a break, although all the customers there when I visited were motorcyclists I noticed that there were racks for pedal bikes and provision for dogs too. Oh, and the flapjacks are delicious!

What a cute little cafe, would easily go in noticed. What you see is what you get but it is cosey and rustic to set a lovley atmosphere. Service can be slow as there was only 1 lady serving. Coffee was so tasty and smooth, highly recommended. Cakes seemed home made also.

Omg what can I say..... The owner is such a lovley lady this cafe has to be one of the best cafe I've ever been to. Food is amazing. Coffee better than main brands by far!! Well worth the stop. I will definitely come back. Ps the flap jack is AMAZING.

Wow, I'd been told about the Gasket and I just couldn't envisage, how it would work, but I found it a friendly and amazing venue. Then the drinks drinks were serves in the old style meta enamelledl cup, it was really a throw back to the good old days & a big BZ (well done) to whose ever idea it was

Called in for a cake and a coffee. The lady owner was really polite and welcoming. The first thing we noticed was how spotlessly clean this cafe is and seating is comfortable with easy disabled access. There's ample parking for bikes & cars and is an ideal meeting place for anyone heading for a run out being only half a mile from M6 J27. The food though limited is excellent quality and the cakes are to die for. If you're not a petrolhead don't be put off, you'll be most welcome. Try it, you'll like it.

Always a warm welcome, cakes are amazing, toasties always hit the mark and the coffee is great. Really nice to go somewhere unique instead of the usual high street coffee shops. Highly recommend.

Attractive Bijoux Coffee shop in a rustic Biker Theme - perfect stop for those on two wheels as there is ample parking and excellent coffee, cakes and sandwiches on offer. Despite our arrival close to closing time, the friendly and pleasant young lady owner was keen to ensure we had everything we needed for our 'pit-stop' on the way to the coast. Tasty and hot toasted pannini accompanied by a smooth flat white coffee was all excellent quality - pleasing to see that the cakes are all home baked by the owner and not shop bought which puts this eclectic coffee shop head and shoulders above its local rivals. The decor is shabby-chic with a biker twist and simply feels warm and inviting. Outdoor seating available for those who can't bear to be more than six feet from their machines - just a perfect respite in the quiet Lancashire countryside. - HIGHLY Recommended and will be sure to visit again soon - A Well Earned 5 Stars ✨

Loved it here. Great little place, ace staff, lovely products. Very happy! Came back again fairly recently and no complaints at all. Was looked after by Andrew today - really friendly chap. Little slice of paradise this place, coffee, cake and biker friendly! What's not to like. If you're in the area pop in. You won't be disappointed.

I visited this place today through a recommendation. With the sun shining I thought it was a perfect excuse to have a nice ride out on my motorbike. I was greeted by a really friendly man (didn't get his name sorry ) and was made to feel welcome from the the moment I entered. The coffee was great and the cake was even better! The place is spotless and feels really cosy and comfortable inside. It was worth the 2.5 hour round trio and I'll look forward to visiting again as soon as I get the chance.
