Always have loved the deli but this was my first visit to the gin evening...amazing gin experience...great drinks, great food, fantastic ambiance, Patti and her team delivered a first class service....may have been my first gin night but will certainly not be my last...cannot praise highly enough. Thoroughly recommend :)

Always visited the deli but had never been to a Gin night....what a lovely evening! Great atmosphere, great food & of course great Gin �. Patty and her team looked after us, fantastic service, would highly recommend....we will definitely be back for another evening �

Wonderful little treasure trove of cheese and deliciousness. Very friendly staff . Stopped to look and bought some delicious cheese . Well worth a visit!

Absolute gem of a place. Loads of cheeses to choose from. Loads of find with an emphasis on Scottish gins. Quirky yet charming decor. Very reasonably priced but the quality is excellent. The staff are also incredibly nice and helpful.

Another delicious lunch at Smithies and great service. Lots of interesting and new products in the shop. Can’t wait to see what Christmas goodies will be available.

Cute wee place, plenty of seating and a really nice atmosphere. Great selection of food and cakes - the portions are perfect and staff are friendly. Towards the front is a shop that sells cheeses and various foods/drinks - they’ve always got something interesting in stock.

Good selection of cheeses. Best gin collection for miles around. Staff are always brilliant. Would like to see a bit more delicatessen stuff, and some gluten free choices.

Bought a £5.00 sandwich yesterday. Was expecting something pretentious and over priced. What I received from the very friendly staff was a well presented sandwich that was more a meal and worth every penny of the £5.00. Great quality and value.

Lovely little gem. Very friendly staff and good homely atmosphere. Great selection of cheese in the deli section and outstanding selection of gin! Great place to pick up something different for Christmas. Very reasonably priced. Definitely going back to check out nibbles for Christmas and New Year.
