Good services to stop at. Nice and clean, lots of parking, plenty of food choices during the day, not so much at night, which is understandable. My most recent stop here was close to midnight on a Saturday night or Sunday morning, at which time I think there was only really M&S operating as a food vendor from what I could see then.
Got caught out due to motorway closure so pulled in at 3am. Lorry Park as all lorry parks very busy. Managed to find a slot and park up safely. Straightforward paying for parking at WH Smiths. Paid an additional £3 and got a £10 food voucher.
Nice and clean food forecourt great selection of food outlets. All the usual suspects.
Purchased a nice fresh tuna salad and a couple of bags of crisps with the voucher.
Very nice and tasty and did its job.
This is one of the larger service stations you can come across when travelling in the UK.
Plenty of different types of outlets, large parking area, easy entry/exit system, drive through areas.
Like with most service stations toilets a big let down, not maintained properly.
We visited and used the EV charging on route to our destination. There are a good selection of different chargers and all were working.
Inside we purchased meal deal from M&S which was fairly limited but still very nice. There are plenty of other place to eat sitting down or take back to your car for both hot and cold food. Plenty of toilet facilities which were all very clean. Very large carpark which can accommodate coaches as well as cars. I would use these services again.
Very clean, very tidy. Well laid out with an abundance of free parking spaces and lots of charging stations. Great location right off the motorway and easy access back to the southbound traffic.
Good place to eat and rest. Big car park. Very expensive petrol station £1.81/liter. 2 miles further much cheaper petrol station £1.51/liter
Good place to take the family for sometime away from the busy city. You can have a private meeting space for less than £6 per hour. Many options for food outlets and if you can't make up your mind just sit look around talk, walk. And you will be spoilt for choice.
By the way there is plenty of parking space for all shapes and sizes of vehicles. Remember to slow down because there are kids. Let's keep the roads safe.
Should you see any suspicious activity do not hesitate to report with haste. On leaving Take time to read the signs you might get lost.
The bathrooms are mint clean with a number of items one can get from the gents. I love it I love it I love it
Nice place to take a break on a long journey. Even though there was a lot of parking but the place was so busy that it took us like 10 to 15 mins just to find a spot. Plenty of food shop there so a lot to chose from. You have indoor seating and outdoor which was nice. These was also public toilets there which was fairly clean however 1 toilet door was missing which I found strange. Anyway The only reason I gave 4 star because food was very expensive. But it was still a nice place to take a break so will recommend it just
As services go it's well equipped, with loads of space and the perfect location. Unfortunately was that time of evening and all the HGV trucks were piling in, including all the caravan spaces but I found what I needed, a little space and time for load adjustment.... So all good.
A decent service station which can be accessed by both directions of the motorway. Accessing from the Northern bound direction was a little bit confusing but it was not too difficult. There are plenty of food options which caters for all tastes and there are several car parking spaces to allow busy periods.
