This place is what you'd expect for a very old hotel in the middle of nowhere on the Scottish Coast. The room was nice, modern, but a bit dated by today's standards. We had a delightful dinner & breakfast, both served by the same person. There's probably a small family that runs the place.
Overall, if you're looking for a place to stay to get away to the Islands, this would be the place to do it.
We were staying at a local B&B, and were so pleased to spot in for a pint in the afternoon and decided to return for dinner that night. The restaurant was so welcoming and food was delicious. There was a lovely atmosphere and all the staff were so kind. Thank you!
Lovely vintage hotel. Great view. Reasonable sized and comfortable room with a harbor view (14). Friendly and helpful staff. Heartedly enjoyed dinner and breakfast. 10/10 would stay here again.
We didn't actually stay at the hotel but a nearby campsite and walked there a couple of afternoons for meals and drinks.
This is a lovely place to visit with views across the bay. We weren't expecting much, being the only bar/pub for miles but the food and service was top-notch. Prices are fairly typical for pub-food but the quality is exceptional - it felt like a Michelin-star restaurant! We went for the vegan choices which were delicious.
The staff were friendly, attentive and efficient. We'll definitely visit again when in the neighbourhood.
Fabulous hotel. We stayed in a classic room, and it was spacious with a large bathroom and window looking out at the ocean. The staff were lovely, and the restaurant had ample (and delicious) vegan options as well as several alcohol-free drink options. We stayed 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed the visit, I would absolutely stay here again.
2 nights at the Arisaig. Very friendly staff, enjoyed the restaurant both nights, breakfast was very good.
Unfortunately, Sunday breakfast was marred by dueling dogs barking n the breakfast room. I mean, seriously???
Then one of the dogs went after a young boy and scared the devil out of him. Of course, the owners didn’t have any decency to remove their pets.
Why the heck these animals need to bring their dogs everywhere?
Friendly, welcoming staff and very attentive. Breakfast was also great with a number of options to choose from, and well cooked.
Accommodation was basic but comfortable enough. Location is ideal for those who want some peace and quiet.
Excellent service and very good food. Plenty of nice hikes and scenery in the area.
Very nice food. 2nd visit didn't disappoint. Mid price, competitive for the area
Traveling from Skye to Oban, we stopped here for lunch. Sat outside and had soup and sandwich. Cullen Skink, pea soup, and ham sandwiches. Delicious!
Great bunkhouse great location has ample room for 12 people the showers are great the only down side is the front room which sleeps three is like a furnace and you can't open the window as the midges flood in it was actually unbearable the heat in the room they could be fitting a mesh film to the window so the guest can open the window
We had a lovely stay, we stayed in bed and breakfast, great service great food
Thank you
Sunday Lunch was so good.
They had music playing which was so good to hear.
Beautiful place, amazing food, lovely people! We will be back!
