We popped in for coffee and cake and they were very busy and understaffed (due to illness) but they handled it very well and were charming and very friendly. Really good coffee and delicious cakes. Would like to go back and have lunch one day
Great little place with a cool vibe and lovely view over the water. Food was excellent! My kids loved it. Staff were so friendly and engaged with them while serving. We will definitely be back.
Perfect pricing for the food of kings. If more than 5 stars was an option we would have chosen it. The staff were unbelievably friendly and welcoming. They even on their own accord realised we may be late for our train and insisted on giving us a lift to the station. They put huge smiles on our faces. Thank you so so much.
Visited twice on our holiday to Arisaig. Really enjoyed both meals. Staff were friendly and it had a good atmosphere. Dog friendly too.
Absolutely amazing food probably best we found and it was by mistake waiter's were really nice I asked for fish chips and curry sauce instead of tartar and they made some fresh for me definitely worth visiting plus the views outside are also amazing
Visited Soundbytes twice during my week stay in Arisaig and enjoyed both visits. On the first I ordered fish and chips and on the second it was a Scottish Breakfast. Both hot and tasty with good portion sizes. Coffee was good quality. Both girls serving upstairs were polite and welcoming. Thank you :-)
Exceptional service, great food and superb views. We had lunch at a very busy time yet didn't wait long to be served etc. Staff excellent and food top quality. Well done to all involved 👏 👍
Soundbytes Amazing food, lovely atmosphere, staff are lovely prices are good. And the views 🤩😍 1st rate. Have included a picture 5mins from here. Great place to stop in for lunch and enjoy the local scenery 👍👍👍
We’ve had a lovely lunch in this very friendly welcoming place in Arisaig. The food was great and excellent value and the service very welcoming. Especially as we were a large party with a lot of children. Would highly recommend!
My husband and I had lunch on Tuesday 27th June which happened to be a special day for us. The food and service was excellent. The 2 waitresses who were working upstairs are very hard working and were up and down the stairs constantly!!! Well done to all involved 👏
Great meal and friendly service, highly recommend
I had the ceasar salad one day I was there and it was delicious. Thank you Bob the amazing chef and new owner of SoundBites. Very fresh and loaclly sourced ingredients used too. The staff are great. You can have a banter with them and the locals too. Thanks Cassie you are always happy to chat and offer suggestions to visitors on where to vist in the surrounding area. Each place in Arisaig that offers food & drink and/ or accommodation support each other. Its a great wee community. Looking forward to our next visit mid July.
We were there for the Folk festival at beginning of June. We were treated to a wee folk players' gathering on the Sunday as about 12 players came by for a wee drink, snacks and to play together for fun after the festival had come to a close. The various tourists and locals alike enjoyed the music along with their food, smoothies, milkshakes, coffees or even a wee drink.
The cakes made by Maggie were melt in the mouth. I had the salted caramel/ toffee chunk filled cheese cake. The portion size was huge. (Nearly never finished it. May need a takeout dish for any leftovers next time).
Anyway thank you to all the staff for great service, great food and drinks and for making us feel very welcome.
Lovely location. Very friendly staff. Highly recommended. Would definitely call in again if in the area.
Lovely cozy cafe in a small town with nice food
Really nice café with a view of the harbour and bay. Music themed with a fantastic selection of vintage Soul and R and B playing when we visited, the volume wasn't loud for those with sensory issues.
The French toast with fruit is really recommended by the whole family, very generous portions and delicious! Nice coffee and good sized pot of green tea, friendly staff and clean covid safe venue. We enjoyed our visit.
A great café. We had Cullen Skink with the best potatoes ever and the freshest homemade tomato bread followed by a superb strawberry tart. Most excellent indeed. Thanks again, we'll be back for sure.
Tasty calamari!
Chips were very average but the seafood chowder was delicious.
Kind and helpful staff.
Absolutely loved Soundbytes! the vinyl athmosphere, great music, friendly staff... coffee and cakes were delicious. Enough Vegan options as well. Recommend everyone to have a stop here between Fort William and Isle of Skye.
Excellent takeaway chips, cooked fresh. Next time I'd love to sit in, the meals looked amazing.
