Title: "Rustic Charm Meets Gastronomic Delights" Tucked away in the quiet little hamlet of Armscote, Warwickshire, The Fuzzy Duck near Newbold-on-Stour is where coziness, tradition, and food magic happen. Once a blacksmith's haven, this charming boutique gastropub now beckons with its old wooden beams, flagstone floors, and those oh-so-inviting fireplaces that make you want to settle in and forget the world outside. As you step in, there's a warm vibe that wraps around you. It's got that sweet spot for romantic getaways or chill weekend escapes. The rooms are snug with their own little bathrooms, fluffy bathrobes, flat-screen TVs, and yes, a neat setup for that essential cup of tea or coffee. It's the kind of comfort you look forward to after a day of wandering around the picturesque sights. Now, let’s talk food. The Fuzzy Duck is a playground for food lovers. The day kicks off with a hearty complimentary breakfast, served from 9 to 10 am. They spoil you with choices from a delightful two/three-course menu, fresh hot food, a spread of yogurts, fruits, juices, pastries, and cereals. And as the day rolls on, the promise of a delicious lunch and dinner awaits, all whipped up from high-quality local ingredients. Step outside, and you’ll find a quaint snack stop for horses, a subtle nod to the countryside charm. And for the eco-conscious traveler, there’s a complimentary EV charging point to juice up your electric ride. When the weather’s fine, the serene beer garden is where you’d want to be, enjoying a cold brew under the soft sun. The folks here at The Fuzzy Duck are the cherry on top. They’re friendly, attentive, and have that knack of making you feel right at home. The tranquil ambiance, paired with top-notch service and a menu that's a love letter to food lovers, makes The Fuzzy Duck a little treasure for those seeking the heart of British hospitality amidst a rustic, laid-back setting. So whether it's the charm of cozy rooms, the lure of tantalizing meals, or the calm serene escape it offers, The Fuzzy Duck near Newbold-on-Stour is all about creating those cherished, relaxed, and deliciously memorable visits.

We stopped in for a Saturday lunch and couldn't be happier with the experience. In a lovely little village it kept that charm but still felt modern and sophisticated inside. The menu was impressive, portions weren't huge but that kept the prices sensible without affecting quality. Staff were helpful and attentive. Well worth a visit

Popped in for a quick drink and a light bite. I can honestly say the salt and pepper squid was exceptional - cooked to perfection and full of flavour. Plan on visiting again when I haven’t had such a big lunch beforehand.

What a wonderful and unexpected find! We had dinner and stayed overnight in this lovely pub/restaurant/B&B last week for our wedding anniversary. The atmosphere in the bar was warm, plenty of locals and the dinner was excellent and good value for such delicious dishes. The room was beautifully and tastefully newly decorated with an extremely comfy bed and pillows. The staff were so friendly and helpful / nothing was too much trouble. I thoroughly recommend you stop by as we did.
