My wife and I live in Murphys. El Vaquero is always a go-to for us, probably once or twice a month. The family is super friendly and they enjoy what they are doing. We have not had a bad meal yet. The food is very good, and fresh. We recommend it for all ages, all families. :)

El vaquero is an excellent location to eat. The service is excellent. The food is exquisite and delicious. The proportions are just right. I enjoyed eating here. I highly recommend it. Don't take my word for it, go check it out and try for yourself. Gracias to the El vaquero staff, keep up the amazing work y hasta la proxima. This is authentic Mexican cuisine.

The food was good, the fajitas were well seasoned and everything else we ordered was very good too, like enchiladas, tamales and chile relleno. They have homemade flan that we liked very much too, and horchata. Only the churros we did not like. they have a red filling with a very artificial and empowering tasteless. They take a bit long to prepare the food, but it's worth the wait. Eating outside in the patio was a good family experience.

Way better than you would think. I wouldn't exactly call Arnold spoiled for choice in food options, so they're very lucky they have a place like this.
Business was pretty slow when I was there. Was served quickly and the food was really good at a reasonable price. Get the enchiladas. Portion could have been a bit bigger but otherwise I was pleased.

Take out only so far....tonight's Pescado a la Plancha was delightful. Loved the fresh butterfly flavor and pops of spice. Jalapeno slices with the beans was a great side dish. Super yummy!
