La Pachanga

La Pachanga is a sad story. It was good, but now it’s abysmal. The chicken “burrito” I had was terrible, it was covered in queso to a point that I could barely taste the chicken. The guacamole and whole tomato slice I got with the burrito weren’t much better. All that was in the burrito was chicken, nothing else, that’s not a burrito. The taco salad managed to be hard and soggy and the same time while also being vastly underwhelming. We got our chips and they were very stale, not being much more than some chicken with the white part of the lettuce mixed in ( also covered in condiments that made it slip once finished. At the end of the day, I’m disappointed because I remember a time when the food was edible.

The service I received tonight was very unsatisfactory. Waited a good 30 minutes just to order food, and was not even checked on once after ordering. The food was okay this time around, but I am confused as to why I was charged a completely different price than what was on the menu. Went for a marg and chicken nachos and ended up paying $23.

Most disappointing visit 030222. My family and friends use this establishment frequently. Our server today was young, talked very fast, and had a heavy accent. When I ordered I pointed at the menu to Nachos A La Plancha and asked for chicken. I never pronounce it correctly. She was asking about our checks as we had a group. And the gal next to me had to answer as I could not understand. Her check sounded like chick. I thought she was talking about the chicken. I received my plate and it was not chips, chicken, and cheese. I told her it was incorrect and she stood arguing with me in front of our group that it was what I ordered. Finally someone with our group asked her if it could be exchanged for what I wanted. She then brought me a plate that had heavily seasoned chicken with onions in it and AGAIN told me that I had ordered incorrectly and she brought what I had said. I get the same thing each time I come here. I paid for it along with a tip but will take my business elsewhere.

Food was alright. Service was awful. Our waiter asked us for our drinks and orders as we had been sat and waiting for a while. They did not seem interested in serving us and did not introduce themselves at all. It was all down hill from there. We received our food, and began eating. In the middle of eating they brings us our check and tells us to make our way to the host stand when ready to pay. (Usually you’re asked how the food is, lol) No contact at all after that. We were waiting for refills and to order dessert, and after chatting for 30 minutes realized they were not coming back to our table. What a joke.

Use to love this place! We went there often but last week, waitress seemed drunk or laughed because she spoke no English. Food wasn't that good, chulked it up to everyone working had a bad day. We went back this weekend and walked in to a puddle of liquid on the floor and nobody bothering to save a fall and be suedThe food was horrible. It's as if the owners care less. Very sad because they are losing all their business to a great place up the street.

Staff here is very friendly and works hard. Restaurant is very clean and bright. Lots of items to choose from on the menu. We had a large group of people for lunch and it did not take that long to get our food. The food tasted awesome and nothing wrong with our order. Everyone in our group loved their order.
