We have been here many times and each time it seems to have changed. It used to feel like a cafe, but now feels more like a takeaway. Only a couple of tables, and tall benches. We really enjoyed what we ate. 5 stars to the young men who served us...very polite and obliging. Bring back the tables and chairs and a bit of side salad!

I have always loved this place, the food is wonderful and on the many occasions that I have visited the service was good too. However, today it was dreadful. The chap in front of me gave up and walked out - his drinks had gone cold by the time his order came - and it was wrong. I ordered two drinks and a brownie slice, not a big complicated order, waited ages and the woman behind me was served first! I am hoping that this was a one off, I will go again but I have to register huge disappointment. Footnote - I have come back a week later and the food, coffee AND service excellent. I have upped the star rating from 2 to 5,credit where it is due.

Friendly but small cafe with great view across the estuary. Pies, quiches, and pasties of superb quality ranging from the classic to that something a little bit different. We enjoyed a gorgeous vegan sausage roll that would have sent Piers Morgan into apoplexy. From the daily board, it looked like some nice meat and vegan breakfasts as well.

Pies tasted like baby food. I mean, the filling wasn't tasty at all. Anyway, scones were great! Actually the best one I've ever had. But I'm not British, so idk does my word count. Lovely staff, and the local is really cosy.

Had delicious vegan sausage rolls, made with beans and other tasty things rather than soya. Nice range of herbal teas and tray bakes. I thought the choices were really good and the staff were lovely, although one didn’t cope with how busy the place was quite so well.

Fantastic little pie shop on Arnside Promenade serving breakfast, pies, cakes, coffee and cold drinks. Sausage Roll was one of the best I’ve had and so filling! Recommend for snacks and drinks to have whilst enjoying the great view over the bay.

Staff Very friendly. Great coffee and sandwiches. We had Egg/Mayo on beautiful fresh bread but loads of other choices. Definitely recommended. Bit pricey but expected that to be fair. Metal seats are not the most comfortable inside, but I think they have made the most use of the space they have available. Too cold (October) to sit outside. Bought two absolutely gorgeous pasties to take away for tea as well. They were delicious.

Such a lovely bakers with some lovely Artisan breads and lovely cakes, quite expensive, but thats the cost of living and survival for such smal specialist business.
