It's amazing hidden pub with lovely garden and playground plus vineyard. Despite comments about the staff we had amazing service. The gentleman who welcomed and served us together with the lady offering pudding was so friendly and professional with sense of humour and advised us for the Sunday speci
Pleasant location, inside and out seating options. For food see menu. Friendly staff. Minimal wait time. NB the tiramisu dessert is a cake. Would definitely re- visit.
Popped into The Rose & Crown for a late lunch while in the area on a Saturday afternoon. Very covid safe, tables spaced apart. The staff were very friendly, clean pub and facilities. The fishcakes were delicious, burger and fries were tasty. However, the chicken was bland, which was disappointing. T
Probably one of the best meals I’ve ever had the pleasure of enjoying. I had the fish and chips. The batter was light and crispy with meaty fish the chips where again perfect. I had a taste of the my dads steak, that was better than the fish and chips. It was an absolute delight to try and will be

Went for Sunday lunch and they fitted us in at really short notice. The beef and belly of pork roasts were delicious and there was plenty of it. The Yorkshire puddings were huge and tasty. Would definitely recommend the roast dinners and will be back. Many thanks
Excellent food, well presented and cooked nicely. Would recommend the sea bass. Very pleasant and efficient staff. Will return.
An early Christmas Dinner with friends. What a lovely pub and scrumptious food. Everyone in our group loved the food. Would defo return. The staff were very friendly too
Very nice gastro pub. Tastefully done up. Good food, classic pub stuff really mostly but done well. Decent selection of beer and wine.
Good food, real ales and friendly staff. Unfortunately pretty empty when we went (weekday early afternoon) so not much atmosphere.
Great place. My wife & I stopped for lunch, the fish & chips were delicious!
We booked a table for 6 on a Saturday evening and were given a lovely round table by the window. Atmosphere is very inviting, warm and cosy. Food was good, the double burger especially was excellent and cooked very well. The fish was a bit oily but tasty. The pork belly was incredible same as the sa
Very welcoming and attentive as soon as you walk in, but not overly so. Large selection of wines and two good bitters on. Lovely menu. Given time we could make our way through all of it. We had a very pleasant experience, and will be back. Soon.
Luckily I came across this pub whilst searching for an alternative to Legoland food. Unbelievable service and food was amazing. So good in fact we went back the next day for lunch!
Lovely pub, great food and friendly service. Big selection of beers and wine. Typical pub menu which is done really well. Interiors are very welcoming
My first time here and the food was delicious! Together me and my family ordered almost all the desserts on the menu and were unable to choose a favourite! So best go try them all haha
