The Greenman Inn

Beautiful, ultra clean and modern pub on a quiet road perfect destination for a weekend drive or ride. Plenty of seating inside and outside to cater for a couple of hundred people. Great food and service. I've driven past many times but met my parents there for a meal the other day and we all loved it. Fantastic!

So pleased to see this Hills icon open and under enthusiastic and obliging management. Made an unscheduled stop in transit .. a good move. A delicious and generous lunch, varied, reasonably priced menu! No pics taken but an enjoyable interlude, seated on a sheltered verandah watching the winter rain descend on the spectacular hills. A return visit is already scheduled!

As I was another of one the 12 that got food poisoning & actually spoke to Tony about the situation, I was told by Tony ( phone was on loud speaker so other people heard the conversation) that we would receive free meals but had to buy our drinks . When we rang and booked yesterday 9/6/22 for today the person was informed of our situation., upon arrival today for lunch ( only 6 ) we weren’t greeted at all , one of our group went to order coffee, and that’s when we were informed by the duty manager only 1 free meal & free drinks . This was not the agreement we had with Tony and told this to the duty manager. We were then totally ignored until the person went up to get a refund for her coffee . We drove from victor Harbor was not impressed to say the least . I myself have been to the Greenman inn on many occasions but after the lies , despicable customer service I will not be returning. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED

I was one of the 12 who got food poisoning from your establishment. And when we rang to notify you, you did as you have just done to Ryan…. Lied and tried to blame everything and anything else. You were on loud speaker and there were a few of us who heard you finally state we would all receive free meals when we next went. So we rang and booked and informed your employee (a woman) what had happened and that we were booking and our meals were free as had been stated by yourself. When we arrived we were told that only one meal would be free and a round of drinks!!!! Now your response to Ryan is different yet again to what we were told today. The total lack of customer support and service leaves me speechless, I used to frequent your establishment a fair bit. But will no longer deal with a person with such nefarious behaviour.
