Great service: attentive without being fussy. Food was fresh and full of flavour. We had specials and felt was great value for price, size and flavours. We spent more in drinks than food :-)

We stopped by Ashburton on the way to somewhere else and had lunch here. It was packed on a Saturday afternoon. The food was great and fresh but the service could be improved.

Absolutely outstanding!! Was driving thru Ashburton and rang ahead to book a table.. we were advised of a big party coming in so was asked if we wanted to order ahead! What a fantastic idea, got my drink and five minutes later our meals were on the table.. just the perfect amount and tasted amazing.. we definitely will be back… cheers 🥂

Stopped here on our way to Lake Tekapo for dinner.
Was a nice spot for elevated pub food. I had the cheese burger, which was really good. The meat was nice and beefy not dry. Really big servings. Well priced.

had late lunch here on-route to Lake Tekapo from Christchurch. very friendly staff and the service was great. the battered fish and sirloin steak were good, but the burger wasn’t - the bun was done to a crisp and everything in between was overcooked. easy to park kerbside.

Stopped for a drive break on way south and its such a lovely spot. Super friendly and helpful staff. Excellent coffee. Lovely atmosphere and great decor - would love to visit for a meal. Also free parking right across the road.
