Highly recommend. The beers are great, bit also wide selection of fantastic gins and wines as well (and probably more I didn't see). Its a welcoming little place, relaxed atmosphere in a building with lots of character, will definitely be going back! Dog friendly too is a bonus
The best place for a decent pint in Ashby - highly recommend. Lovely selection of local ales as well as wines and spirits.
Often meet friends in there. Good choice of locally produced beers by Tolgate Brewery who also own the pub. Very pleasant owner and staff. Gets rammed 4:00-7:00pm on a Friday but at other times is comfortably busy. Good to see a local business doing well in the town.

Fantastic place to go for a proper drink, although it’s only a small place the choice of beer available on draft is brilliant with some really interesting and tasty choices for all Camra enthusiasts. The atmosphere is always welcoming and there’s a nice buzz about the place.
My partner and I popped in for a quick visit last Saturday. Great selection of drinks and the scotch eggs were amazing. Will definitely be nipping back at some point soon
Last pub on a good pub crawl. Always struggled to get in here but it's a fantastic little place, nice log burner and friendly, knowledgeable staff. Beers also cracking and probably helped to my state of mind the day after ..

Incredible venue, wonderful cosy pub with a vast array of quality beers & ales on offer. Really well priced, service was impeccable and if you're lucky enough to grab a seat by the fire I don't think you'll be leaving in a hurry.
