Visited for breakfast. Great British traditional town centre cafe with table service. Very friendly and welcoming staff quick and effcient. Sausage and egg sandwich, two slices toast, butter, marmalade, and a great latte for around £8.5. Highly recommended

A proper greasy spoon without the greasy tables. I come in here a few times a week and the staff now know my order :) always friendly, always kind and fry up is spot on. Wouldn't go elsewhere.

This is our second visit to Poppins. I have to say that the food is always hot, cooked well, and served quickly. However, we always feel we are rushed in here. You don't even get a chance to look at the menu before the waitress is there. They continue to hoover around, and the plate it taken the minute you have finished. Even before you have got your coat on the waitress is by your table, ready to clean it. Find this quite intimidating 😳. Other than that, the place is super clean. Wide choice on the menu, outdoor seating area.

Excellent jacket potato with tuna. Std all day breakfast ok. Had better elsewhere for the money. The burger and chips coming out of kitchen looked good. Has a child menu and extensive varied menu. Staff efficient and friendly.
