Nice pub with a lovely feel to it, didn't try the food so can't comment on that, although the menu looked really nice. Sat in the pub garden which was a nice setting.

Food was excellent and really good value. It’s a really nice quaint pub and dog friendly too so was able to sit indoors with Barney our dog.

We popped in for a quick drink just before the place closed for the evening. Sadly very quiet, we were the only ones there, had a lovely chat with the landlord who is v friendly and has been at the pub (as a drinker, then as landlord) for decades! Would love to see it pick up more passing trade!

Stopped off for a drink after a walk, nice outside area , dog friendly. We didn't eat this time but definitely plan to after reading other reviews . Friendly locals, which probably sounds an odd thing to say but some pubs can be very clicky and it's nice to just go somewhere chilled out .

Friendly service with good quality classic pub food. Would have got 5 stars if the Doombar beer had been spot on, instead taste was a bit off, my fault I should have mentioned it at the time, perhaps end of a barrel.

Had an AMAZING Sunday roast today. Food was delicious and plentiful. Excellent service and great atmosphere. My Husband actually said “Why have we not been here before?!?”
Menu has good mix of choices. We shall DEFINITELY be back. Would recommend 100%

We discovered this pub during a dog walk before Christmas and have been back at least once a week since then. The staff have all made us feel very welcome and Steve and Maria (the chefs) cook superb meals. Great taste and great value for money. And on top of that - dog friendly which makes us and our dog extremely happy!! Sunday roast is outstanding! Best kept secret in Ashford

We had Sunday lunch there with friends and the roast dinners were really good. Plenty of fresh veg, which came separately, and a nice selection of meat. Reasonably priced for 2 or 3 courses, and the lady serving us was delightful. Would definitely recommend.

Just had our Christmas dinner here with some lovely friends. The food was excellent, really well presented. Table set all festive, crackers included! We’re regulars and always made to feel welcome and this was no exception. Thanks H&H team and Merry Christmas! Sam and Charles
