We sat in the restaurant part with our drinks as the main bar area was full. We didn't eat food. Served fairly quickly at the main bar. Staff were neither friendly or unfriendly.

Food was good. 2 of us are gluten free, we ordered 2 cowboy burgers, and 1 gammon and eggs. Chips were lovely, burger good, but felt it could do with a bit of moisture, a bit dry, maybe tomato, or onions. Staff very attentive.

I love bringing my family for a Sunday lunch at your pub. The food is delicious and the service excellent. Will always go back!

I was more than pleased with the service I received.
The steak I ordered was cooked to perfection my partner went for hunters chicken which she found to be amazing. The decor and staff were really pleasant. Great value compared to other establishments in the area. I will recommend to both friends and family . Thank you to the team at the Kings head great service. I will be back for more soon no doubt.

We had the steak Thursday deal. The staff were very pleasant but the food. Wow, for a Thursday deal @ £11.95 for a 8oz Sirloin with a pint was outstandonf The meat was great quality, I wanted mine rare, its hard to get the crust while keeping it rare. Perfectly and evenly cooked, my partners Gammon was thick and not dry at all, with the most perfect cooked eggs. Incredible value, and a lovely atmosphere.

We had a great family meal 2 weeks ago and so decided to go back for our wedding anniversary.
Great service and fantastic food on both occasions. Food was cooked perfectly and delicious. Complements especially to the kitchen staff, who were working in extreme heat.

Went to the wake of my neighbour here in the restaurant area of this pub, so I can't comment about the service or atmosphere and, therefore, not rated. However, the cold buffet provided was very good and enjoyed by all guests. Altogether, the King's Head seemed an ideal place to hold a wake if you'd rather not hold it at home.

We had a really enjoyable time out for my dad's birthday. We went at about 3 o'clock and the place was quiet. The food was delicious and good portions. The staff were really friendly and efficient. It's a really nice place for family's and friends.

Big garden so plenty of space to accommodate different groups of customers. We had a party booking for 25 people and we fit comfortably using the garden space whilst there's another event on inside the restaurant area.

We booked a Wake/Reception and opted for a buffet with tea and coffee. Nothing was too much trouble. Michele and the team were extraordinary. From the minute we made the booking, they were super helpful, gave options, allowed us to set up a few things to make the space more personal, and were generally amazing.
