Just came here on spur of the moment passing while calling elsewhere. On 1st Impressions thought i had made a mistake, was very quiet and could do with the decor updated. But the food was lovely. Good prices and friendly staff at bar. Will definitely go back , good range of food cant wait to try a sunday dinner. Hidden gem worth a try if you like your food.

We went for a late tea on the recommendation from our daughter. The bar and restaurant area are dated and in need of a spruce up but we could not fault the food, portions good, maybe 15 minutes max wait, piping hot, small portion fish and chips which I could not finish, prices good, will definitely try again, no nonsense bar meal, staff where lovely.

A really nice welcoming venue, food very good. The staff very accommodating and pleasant. Décor is a little old, but warm, panelled brown wood and simple furniture arrangement.

Popped in for a quick drink whilst my car was being MOT'd down the road. Service was quick, venue was clean, drinks reasonably priced. Other patrons had ordered food, which smelled delicious and looked fresh.

Been several times with the other half, never any complaints! Foods always been fab, service & staff are spot on. Allow dogs too so we can bring our bestie along with us on date nights. Wide selection of awesome food! Don’t be put off by the “locals”, everyone’s is friendly and chatty which we always love!

Excellent place, a revisit after a disappointing experience on our last visit years ago.
Heard good things from recent diners so we decided to give it ago again.
Food was excellent well prepared and full of flavour mashed tatties were lovely and creamy.
Staff were excellent and very helpful.

We went here as the junior football team celebrated winning the league. A huge group of teenagers and families all thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The food was outstanding and the fact that the order was correct for such a large group is credit to the staff. Great night.

Found on Facebook and I was very impressed with the pictures of the food which were shown. My wife and I gave it a go today and found the food to be large portions and not only tasty but totally scrumptious. The menu leaves you baffled as what to try and the staff are so polite and helpful. My wife could not eat all her fabulous meal and therefore had the rest put in a doggy bag which she will have for dinner at work tomorrow. They also have 3 blackboards with specials. Highly recommended 😋

Ate here yesterday lunchtime with my Mam. I had the lunchtime special, 2 courses for £5.95, potato skins with sweet chilli and sour cream dips. I then had chicken tikka wrap that came with skinny chips and salad, this was lovely, really spicy. My Mam had the pensioners special for £4.95, gammon, fried egg, chips and peas, again really lovely home cooked food, chunky chips and a nice runny egg. Would recommend.

Found this by accident when looking for a wheelchair friendly pub with food.
Big car park, kiddies play area, outside eating area. Nice clean restaurant, staff very friendly. Absolutely massive and varied menu to choose from, plenty on the specials boards as well. Didn't expect much from the 2 courses for £5.95, but both our meals were good sized and tasty. Had to have the selection of desserts and coffee for £4.50, absolutely gorgeous. So, two starters, two mains, large dessert and coffee and drinks for £20. Definitely be back.
On the other hand, the outside area could be cleaned and tidied up a bit and the disabled toilet/baby change was clean but needs some tlc. (Wobbly tap, moving toilet seat, basic baby change)
