Absolutely gorgeous food, the whole family enjoyed their meals and nothing was left dispite big portions. Staff were very friendly and helpful, the atmosphere that they have created here with the fairy lights and trees is beautiful!! Fair prices and will definitely be back here.
We recently visited New Woll Estate for a last minute break.
We were able to book New Woll House. This is a six bedroom house with dining kitchen and separate living room. Each bedroom is en suite and there is also a separate toilet and shower room near the front door.
The accomodation was very clean and the setting over looking the course and club house was wonderful. We had our new puppy with us and were able to sit outside the clubhouse and have lunch and a few drinks. The food was very tasty and the drinks well poured. The staff were very friendly and looked after us. Anything we asked for the were able to oblige.
Its a lovely setting and we quickly switched off from work and relaxed into our weekend
We can thoroughly recommend New Woll Estate.
You don't need to play golf to enjoy the location, food and company of the staff.

At the woll today (selkirk) had great day lovely golf course in the borders well wirth the drive through. And fish and chips for lunch with sticky toffee pudding to follow. And europe won the ryder cup. Great day.
Delightful traditional style food, beautifully cooked and presented.
Good atmosphere, our host was lots of fun and very warm.
Great place for a meal, lovely food, the fish and chips are to die for, lovely decorations.
Can't recommend New Woll Estate highly enough. Great course, good food in clubhouse and super accommodation too.
If you're staying the golf is included, ideal for a golf society weekend.
From our arrival to our departure, we were all extremely impressed by the friendliness of the Apartment Owners, to the Staff in the Main Bar/Dining facility.
The food was superb and very reasonably priced. All 4 of us travelled between 70-100 miles, stayed for 2 nights and played 4 rounds of golf ⛳️ on a very challenging course which was in excellent condition in a fantastic location with great 👍 views.
The apartment was extremely clean and had everything we required to cater for our needs.
We will be making a return journey to WOLL Golf Course in May next year and are already looking forward to another enjoyable experience.
Golfing weekend at The Woll- again! The course is in a magnificent setting and playing very well. Accommodation good. The clubhouse is run by very helpful and friendly staff who work well together as a team and are a great asset to the estate.
Went for a wedding nice scenery.Lovely food at night time.Bar prices a bit more expensive than in Hawick which you would expect..Quite spread out if you are at the back of the main area for the wedding if its a larger wedding.But very nice venue 2nd wedding we have went as a family to here and enjoyed both times one was a smaller wedding and the other a large wedding. Staff are friendly.Have heard from a family member who plays golf here the food is good and he has joined the golf club My son has also golfed there and is talking about joining he enjoyed it so much playing there.Also other people have said the evening meals are nice here in a lovely setting.
Simply a “ stunning course “ One of the best I’ve played in Scotland from St Andrews down to East Lothian’s Golf coast.
Holes to test all levels if golfers here and the borders scenery is unbelievable as ever. The staff welcome is always very personal and the food is 5 stars.
You won’t be disappointed when you play here.
Today we visited the New Woll golf course, the course was in good condition despite the terrible wet weather of late.
We were on a deal including sandwiches and coffee, round of golf then a two course meal.
Outstanding value, great food, fantastic hospitality from all the staff we cannot pick fault.
We will definitely be back, for anyone thinking of going don’t hesitate you will not be disappointed.
New Woll Estate was fantastic as always.. The course was in the best condition ever. The food and staff in the clubhouse were exceptional. North Barn was perfect for two couples. Looking forward to returning in July. Only problem there is not enough buggies.

Played two rounds of golf with bacon roll and coffee on arrival, lovely soup and freshly made sandwiches for lunch then a two course meal in the evening. The golf course was in great condition and most enjoyable (this was my first visit). Not too long (5700 yards off the yellow tees) but not necessarily easy. The restaurant was very comfortable, service excellent and the food just what you want after a round of golf - tasty and lots of it. Will definitely be back.
Great place for food even if you don't play golf..
Woll Golf Course is excellent. Well looked after and very friendly. The greens could be quite challenging on some holes but we thoroughly enjoyed it. Food was also excellent. We weren't staying at Woll, we just called in on spec.
Really enjoyed playing golf here. Some nice holes with lovely views. The par 4's are all relatively easy with a driver and a short iron to the green but for me it was the par 3's and par 5's that made it interesting. Only criticism is the flies and I mean there are LOADS of them. We played in mid July and at points they were almost unbearable, I appreciate the golf course can't do anything about them but they were very annoying. We went for lunch afterwards and the food was really good and all the staff were very pleasant. Will definitely be back.
Stayed 3 nights in the Tower 1st -3rd June 2021. Nice 2 bed ensuite apartment with everything you require for self catering. The course was in great condition and as it sits in a valley it’s walkable for all age groups, saying that we did hire buggies due to consuming copious amounts of bourbon each night. We ate in the club house one night, the food was of a good standard and well presented we also went to Hawick £15 taxi ride and had a nice Italian which is down by the river. The staff also get 5 stars friendly polite and knowledgeable.

Always a good visit to play at The Woll golf course. Weather was fantastic but 27°C was too much for me!!
It is a beautiful course and one of my favourites. Visit it once a year.
