Wow. First time at The Old Plough today, it certainly lived up to expectations!
It wasn’t like your usual visit to a pub for a roast, it was a whole experience. The staff were so attentive and friendly, you could tell they wanted to be there. The food tasted incredible with generous portion sizes!

Too rushed.
The waitress was waiting at the table and put the starter on the table before my bottom had touched seat.
Asked if I had finished and removal of dishes.
- Impossible to respond with food in your mouth still eating.
This happens every time.
You can be in and out 3 courses within 40 minutes.
Many customers take-out dessert due too being rushed.
Second visit with different friends and yet again had a fantastic meal. We will be returning again soon. Thanks to the excellent owners and staff
It was recommended by a friend and not disappointed at all! The owner was a bit moody but the food was absolutely stunning, both flavour and presentation. Meat was cooked beautifully and veggies served separately to order. On the list to repeat

This place was recommended to us. What a lovely pub it had charm. Loved all the pieces dotted around. The food was very good I had chicken with mushrooms in a sauce the veg was served separately and there was lots of choice. The staff was very pleasant and helpful except for the old guy behind the bar I found him rude.we would eat here again
Sunday lunch that has infinite sides (well, we counted only 18!). Very nice desserts. Grumpy owner adds the perfect touch.
