The Hartshead Restaurant

Shortly after arrival we was welcomed and seated in a beautiful dinning room. Atmosphere was relaxed, warm and friendly, amazing old photos and paintings of around the area and beautiful views from the window we was sat at. Ordered our amazing food. I had fish and chips (classic) and my 2 friends ordered the duo of lamb (getting this next time) food arrived and was amazing. The service was second to none nothing to much trouble and very friendly and chatty. Lucy B & Eleanor was amazing just what any food establishment requires. Owning my own food establishment I understand about choosing the right staff, the hartshead have truly got the staff right this evening so thank you Lucy B & Eleanor for looking after me and my friends this evening, the right staff will ensure customers return and talk about there experience. We will be back as need to try the lamb duo. My friends had honey pot dessert but after the huge battered fish I couldn't attempt a dessert even though that looked amazing. Last visited August 2023 It was rather straightforward to make the reservation via automated service on the mobile. Ordered a good selection of food to share, the way we like it to mix it up. The food was ok. It helped ordering a selection and sharing to mix the flavour. Having said that, there where no complaints with the food. It was during a quiet period, so we had nicely positioned table near the window.

Me and my partner had a meal at the Hartshead inn a few weeks ago. I would love to give this a five star review because the food and the service was excellent. I had an offer off the app which gave me a discount so it made it great value for money. But I would’ve gone anyway because I love the chain.
