Absolutely fabulous Christmas Day Lunch. Well done to ALL the staff you provided my wife and I with an all time treat, your service was excellent and the food top dollar, the roast beef just melted in your mouth. We ate here recently & we had the fish finger sandwich, which was fresh & delicious and very happy with portion size. We also had the prawn baguette, which was amazing & fresh. Chips were also very tasty.
Lovely lunch accompanied with a couple of beers. Nice to be able sit on the green and watch the peacocks. Staff very helpful and attentive.
Ella, our waitress, couldn't have been more welcoming. She made our visit even nicer with her sunny disposition. I recently visited The Chequered Skipper pub and restaurant in Ashton, and I have to say that it was an absolutely fantastic experience. My partner and I went there for New Year's Eve, and we had an amazing time. The atmosphere was lively and festive, and the staff members were incredibly welcoming

Beautiful evening & ate alfresco with lovely live piano music. Food v good & service nice & friendly. Had fish curry & orange cake for dessert.

My Wife and I have been to the Chequered Skipper quite a few times. I am just now leaving a review after our last visit on 14/01/23. We split the soup of the day and the burger. Which by the way, is good. The only thing I would prefer to be a little different
