All I can say is wow.. the food was amazing, I'm a vegetarian and my fruity nut loaf was the best I've ever had..
We will most definitely be back on a monthly basis to get a fantastic roast fix..

Loved it here. Had a lovely meal of mixed grill: chicken breast, gammon, lamp chop, pork chop, sausage, steak. Also chips, fried egg, peas, mushrooms, onions rings and salad. Enough to feed the 5000. Very tasty.
Not a posh restaurant serving beer on the side but a brilliant homely pub with a great landlord serving good beer and a home cooked Sunday lunch at a sensible price. Easy parking at the rear of the pub. Advisable to book as this is well used by the locals.

Fantastic pub. Friendly staff and great food. Very welcoming village pub serving traditional food with proper portions and sensibly priced. Well stocked bar with a choice of real ales. Nice beer garden and ample off road parking. Looking forward to visiting again.
Friendly atmosphere and welcomed us in at very short notice on a mid week evening. Plenty of space to feel safe. Attentive service. The best steak and ale pie! Large plates of food and very tasty!
