Lovely traditional pub and cracking Sunday dinner, been a few times now and they do one of the best Sunday dinners around. The roast beef is perfect, slightly pink and really tender. Veg cooked to perfection, huge delicious yorky. Customer service is also excellent.
We visited for our 1st time for Sunday lunch on my birthday. The staff were lovely and the food amazing. We will definitely return.
What a wonderful family Sunday lunch. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel so welcome. Nothing was enough trouble for the amazing staff. The food was delicious and in generous portions. Each and every one of us enjoyed our meal. A perfect setting where you can look across green fields wit
Absolutely fabulous place to have after a 7 mile walk. food was cooked fresh and was well presented, good selection of beer, I had a non alcoholic gin and tonic as we still had several more miles to walk and a drive home. Elena was a great host. Give this place a visit and you won't be disappointed
Great. Service and staff really friendly. Best pub food menu for variety of tastes, will have to to go back to sample more. Stick with the sat nav. You'll get there. Definitely worth a visit!
Went this Sunday for a roast with a friend. The food was nice and very good portion sizes, especially the pork roast. Is a bit of a shame the vege and pork roast doesn’t come with a yorkie pud and you have to pay extra for it through and sadly the older gent (possibly a manager) that served us came
Friendly staff. Food delicious. We had rib eye steak, expensive but worth it. Nice chips. We had to eat in bar because of dog, so would have been nice to have a discount for bar eating, like some places do. But still nice. Lovely duck pond outside. Very quiet relaxing village.
Absolutely spot on! Went for Sunday lunch on 15th Oct and couldn’t fault it. Portion sizes were great, food was tasty and drinks were also. Nice decor pub and lovely setting in the village. Going again for sure 👍🏻
First time dining here and we were all impressed with the food which was excellent quality. Staff really friendly and efficient. We plan to go and try the Sunday lunch soon and will certainly be going back for more meals in the week. So lovely also to sit outside by the duck pond for a drink. Beaut
Lovely meal and good service too. Best dessert ever. This chef knows their way around a dessert
We live locally and go at least once a month for food. A consistently brilliant offering. Varied menu, good choice of ales. Helpful staff.
We went here on the 9th June for a wake. Lovely Pub and function room. The food was excellent and there was plenty. Staff really nice. The out side had plenty of seating and was pleasant with a pond and ducks. Lovely setting. Will go back to try the menu.
Such a lovely village pub - cosy inside and beautiful outside. Food was all freshly made and absolutely amazing. The staff were so friendly and made the experience even better.
Wonderful! My first time dining here and what a great experience. Staff were helpful and friendly, Sunday lunch was incredible....in fact, the best pub Sunday lunch I have ever had. Portions were super generous. Thankyou so much, will highly recommend and will be returning very soon! Kerry & Graham
Went for the first time for a Sunday lunch, food was really good and decent sizes, good selction of drinks available too. Will be definitely returning to try the menu in the week.
Great service, friendly atmosphere and the food was piping hot. The tomato and basil drizzle soup was gorgeous, would highly recommend. The tandoori half chicken with bombay tats was great. One critism the Potatoes could have been a little more spicy. But this is purely down to taste and preference.
What an amazing friendly place to visit. Wonderful tasty food and drinks. Amazing staff, that are so helpful. Beautiful inside and outside. Will definitely be visiting the wonderful place again.
Stopped here for a drink today after exploring the Baxterley heritage trail. Excellent and friendly service, I had a coffee which was great and the range of ales was impressive. Snacked on two freshly home-made sausage rolls which were delicious all while sitting out by the duck pond enjoying some a
