Silo Coffee

Nothing flashy. It didn't feel much like a warm place. When the woman was taking my order. She seems to be rushing me. They close the kitchen in over an hour. Only us and another pair of people were there. One had coffee. Obviously just wanted a place to chat. The women taking our order, didn't even greet me when I came to the front. tapped on the machine and still not looking at me asked what I wanted. After every item we placed, she asked if that was it. Felt like she wanted this transaction to be over. Which should be the first bad sign. Food isn't worth the price. My boyfriend had a ham cheese sandwich. One slice of Ham in the sandwich, which isn't much filling. I had Caesar salad for $18. Not worth it. The poached egg was soaking wet that when picking it up, water dripped all over the salad. Making it wet, room temperature salad mess. Not much bacon or croutons. There were LOTS of lettuce. the extra chicken for $3, was also dry and thinly cutter. Basically $6 salad that was charged for $18. For drinks, my boyfriend has caramel frappe. Tasted like icy milk. I had banana and honey smooth. Just banana and milk by taste. As we were leaving I saw them wrapping the displace items in the display box. Placing them back where it was. I image for tomorrow... Which doesn't seem healthy and safety. Who knows if they service to public tomorrow, or how long they been serving food from same display. I'm only concern cause I knew of place before (thankfully shut down) that use to always sell old food and just pick of mold. I hope this place is better than that. So overall, not a really fantastic place. But it will do in a pinch if you want to catch up with a friend and everywhere you want to go is shut.
