Stopped for breakfast which was delicious. Perfect poached egg and very tasty bacon and sausages. Served on hot plates so it stayed warm to the last mouthful. Good coffee. Really set us up for the day. Our waitress Janine was brilliant.
Manager needs some work!
Booked a table for a carvery today and on arrival the manager couldn’t find our booking and informed us we were not booked. I explained that I had emailed days ago to book and all I got in reply was “we don’t do email bookings”. Having shown Mr personality the emails confir
Visited on a Saturday evening for a carvery. Fast and friendly service in the bar and restaurant. Carvery is available 7 days a week in the evening. Not only the traditional meats but also sausages, stuffing, beef stew, and other meat dishes. Was all cooked to perfection. We definitely will be retur
This is a nice find, great surroundings and amazing food I really recommended the sunday lunch which was faultless. Great coffee lounge & brasserie to relax in after a nice meal, found both the atmosphere and the service to be outstanding.
Stopped off for lunch. Was very busy but managed to get a table quickly. Excellent food and quick service. Would definitely go back there.
Would stay here again. In fact we stayed an extra night. Staff were friendly and went above and beyond. Carvery and breakfast were very good as was the price. Pub was cozy. Hotel was clean.
Perfect place for current working location. Reception very helpful as booking another room later on this week. 3 areas to eat. Not eaten in the restaurant yet. I prefer the bar. Good draft Ghost Ship. Food good...nice and fresh and quick service. Tonight I have enjoyed the chicken caesar. Seems
Vegetarian breakfast with a cappuccino. Service was good, fast and friendly. Great value for £10.95 compared to some other venues. Good setting. Would have been 5 stars but the poached eggs weren't runny.
Fantastic carvery and lovely staff, they were busy but still very attentive - choice of 3 meats and plenty of veg etc
