Had a lovely roast dinner there yesterday with my partner. Food was lovely, fantastic atmosphere. Staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome, always staff around and nothing ever too much trouble. This was my 3rd visit and will definitely be back again.
Lovely lunch here, I choose handmade steak and ale pie with mash, was lush. The lovely staff bought my friend some birthday balloons over for the table, a lovely gesture. Had a history lesson from the owner, so interesting thank you ! We live across in Wales but this is our favourite place to eat.

What a lovely country pub. Staff were welcoming and very helpful. It was fairly busy and we ordered at the bar with a really enthusiastic and friendly member of staff and the food was with us in about 10 minutes. Lovely food, piping hot and well presented. Overall a great place with a lovely outdoo
This was the best pub experience I've ever had. Apart from the food and drinks being excellent the staff were even better. From the boss downwards, the friendliness and interaction with us was something else. We all said we have never had an experience like it.
