Great food and friendly staff. The seats in location are comfortable on the benches. The metal chairs are a little uncomfortable.

The best outdoor seating area in Austin, hands down.
I've been a customer of Vinaigrette for around 7 years now, and it's played host to some of my favorite and most cherished meals of that time, seated in the shadow of their gorgeous welcoming oak tree.
I'm giving atmosphere 4/5 instead of 5/5 because the indoor area is the exact opposite- loud, boomy, and can be very overstimulating for me when it's busy. But I don't want that to dissuade anyone, because the outdoor area is that magical.
I used to work at a local event space down the street, and Vinaigrette was such a popular choice amongst people who came in and my colleagues, that we kept Vinaigrette menus on hand for people to order from. It's a great option for takeout for meetings, retreats, or similar events where you have the budget.
Their prices *are* on the higher end for salads, but the portions are incredibly generous (I often end up with leftovers). Also, overall their prices seem on-par with other spots in town these days. Some of my most memorable and cherished meals have taken place in their oak garden.
My go-to order has always been the La Pepita salad, no chicken/extra beans (vegetarian). I like this salad so much that I don't know if I've ever ordered anything different. Pro Tip: order a side of tortilla chips with this salad for an extra crunch
Must-try items: Kale Fritters, Frozen Vinny Palmer (beverage)
Not my favorite: Sautéed Kale (it's often way too salty for my taste), Mac & Cheese (I don't love the texture or flavor, and find it a bit grainy)
My servers have always been incredibly friendly as well.
With how much prices have risen, I rarely eat out in Austin these days. Vinaigrette is one of the few exceptions that I feel is still consistently worth it.

Favorite place for a healthy bite whenever I’m in town. Love their house made shrubs and ESPECIALLY the kale Caesar salad - it’s my favorite salad in the whole world. I always add salmon. Outdoor seating under the oak tree at dusk is magical, but be sure to wear bug spray for the mosquitos.

Our first time coming to Vinaigrette and we loved it. Our server, Heather, was fantastic. A real gem! And the food was delicious! I loved the grilled veggie sandwich. The flavors and textures were great. And the salads were so flavorful and crisp! The building was also very cool.

I really enjoyed this place for a quick bite. The salads looked excellent, but I went with the Reuben. So good, one of the best I have had. I love how all the salads are customizable with your protein of choice. Very chill vibe and blends into Austin very well with excellent service and great food. Parking was ample as well.

Great place to get meal sized salads! The tofu alone brings me back every time. I love that they also have sandwiches and other tasty items on the menu, there's something for everyone here. I recently fell in love with the nachos- not your typical nachos! They're the prfect amount for 2 to share, fresh, crunchy, and not heavy at all. I also love their green juice that's served during brunch, it would be awesome if it was always available.

What a beautiful setting! Big patio area with nature all around! Our server was very nice and explained to us all about the menu! Drinks are delicious! And I had Cuban sandwich with a small side salad which was really good as well!!

It can be so hard to find a healthy place to go for lunch, which is why I was thrilled to find Vinaigrette! I met a girlfriend for lunch here and will gladly go back. The salads are fresh and delicious and the people who work here are just lovely. I can’t wait to go back on a weekend to try a cocktail or two. Beautiful, modern space with pops of color inside and lovely, relaxing seating nestled under a wonderful oak tree outside are the perfect setting for a delicious, fresh salad or sandwich. Their drinks are inspired. The salads are beautiful. Try the tuna salad salad for a delicious meal. Their seasonal salads are also wonderful as well.
