We tried this restaurant on recommendation. We were told the food is authentic so we were excited to experience it for ourselves. We ordered the tteokbokki (labeled spicy rice cake on the menu). We also ordered kimchijeon (kimchi Korean pancake), dumplings, and Galbi (beef short ribs). Everything was delicious and portions generous. The kimchijeon will be calling me back soon!

We went here on a Monday evening so it's not the busiest, and the service was fast. I got the kimchi pancake and pork blood sausage soup. I liked the soup a lot. I bet it's gonna taste better when the weather is cooler. The soup is very comforting. It's also a large portion, I had to take it in a to-go box to finish it the next day. The soups are served with banchan dishes. Loved the stewed potato. The pickled vegetables are also very good. The kimchi pancake was a little on the mediocre side. Not very crispy on the surface and the kimchi flavor was a bit weak.

Great place for korean food, the owners are very friendly and the food is delicious! Prices are pretty reasonable too, and good portions. Ttebokki is my favorite, and the galbi!

Simple place with friendly service. Reasonably priced. I'm a big fan of Korean food. Most of the places I go don't open till later. This is good quiet lunch spot. I highly recommend.

Overall food is OK but I think the portion is rather small and the spiciness can be enhanced even I have asked for extra spicy; nevertheless it's good for kids as they enjoyed the food very much.

We were immediately greeted and taken care of. We ordered the SsamBab and Pork Bulgogi, and it was very delicious and filling. The ssambab is definitely more than enough for 2 people, and the waitress was quick to bring out more of the Banchan (sides) as we finished them. Would definitely recommend trying out the food here.

The food and service were great. The teobookki (spicy rice cake) was one of the best ones I have had. The rice cakes were soft like morazella cheese but very chewy. The sauce was delicious and went well with the kimchi fried rice. The soondae soup was delicious, and I didn't have the weird intestines smell at all.

Absolutely our best Korean restaurant in town! We had the Dolsot Bibimbap and the Soft tofu jiggae…two of our faves. The restaurant is located in Austin’s Chinatown and is a must visit for good Korean food!!

I love this restaurant so much. The food is very good and if you love Korean cuisine, then you'll love this place too. Don't come here expecting anything fancy because that's just not the atmosphere here. It's not a bad place at all but the Korean Grill is most concerned about stuffing bellies with tasty food. The portions are very big and all of the extras that come with your dish compliments the meal very well and just add to the enormous amount of food that's served.
