Happy Haggis - Aviemore - Photo album

The best fish and chips I’ve ever had in my life. No wonder why they won the award. The price is the same as elsewhere, not cheaper. I took both breaded and battered and both were extremely good. Elsewhere supper usually has two pieces but they serve only one piece here but it’s so delicious. The ch
Oh wow, you must try deep-fried pizza! This was a game changer. The lady serving us was really sweet and really pleasant to talk to. The food was very hot and the chips were perfect. The place always had customers in and out while we sat outside to eat our food, which is always a good sign.
I wanted to know if they were the best fish n chips in the village. I enjoyed it no complaints. I had to wait until I got back to Edinburgh and reheated it which I hate to do but I have to admit it was still tasty and flavoursome. Well done!!! Big thumbs up for me
Quick friendly service, good sized portion it's not often I struggle to finish a portion of fish and chips
We ordered fish and chips and battered mars bars. The service was excellent, both fast and friendly despite it being very busy. It was some of the best fish and chips we've had (and we're from Pembrokeshire). Would definitely visit again when in Aviemore.
Very tasty freshly cooked fish and chips. Used this place many times over the years and its never disappointed. Currently undergoing a revamp but no effect on the service.
Had a delicious takeaway from here. Huge portions. Sat in the outside seating area as we had the dog with us. Fast service even though it was busy
Excellent food served and very efficient staff. We had various meals throughout our week's stay in Aviemore and the Happy Haggis is the place to go for good old simple food, and some offerings not so simple. Highly recommended.
If chippies can get Michelin stars, this place definitely deserves them! Fantastic all around. Had the seafood platter and loved every bite of it, the batter was crispy and light, the breaded scampi were juicy, and the chips lived up to their fame. Puds were to die for as well, don't leave without t
The most I've ever spent on fish and chips in my life! To be expected in a tourist town though I suppose? The fish and chips were very good after a short wait.
We placed a big order to feed 15 and it was all cooked very well - excellent quality all round from the chops themselves to the sausages, black puddings, pies and King Ribs.
Best chip shop in Britain. Over the years I've had many from all over and none come close this place. Crisp batter and beautiful chips. Also, you can sit and and be served quick by friendly staff. I have to drive a long distance to get there but it's always worth it.
Friendly staff and food was beautifully cooked. Being a southerner, the fried Mars bar was novel, but my wife coming from the Midlands is not so sure.
Very good haggis, very flavorful and umami
When I went in tonight service was quick and with a smile. It's always nice to have a server ask how your day was. Prices were reasonable and everything was cooked fresh. The fish supper was huge and it was one of the best flakiest haddock I've had in a while. What let the place down was the staff
One of my favouritest chippies, the staff are really pleasant and the food is awesome. Nothing beats enjoying a haggis supper whilst enjoying one of the countless views nearby
