Amazing food and just outside is the play area so you can even sip wine while your kid play in the play area ;-)

The steak was one of the best me and my boy friend have ever had! Would’ve done 4.5 stars as service was slow and a little pricey but was worth it

Taking off one star because the service was very slow. The staff were lovely and the food delicious, although the menu isn't large.

Brilliant food!
I have a lovely dinner for two here with my wife. The menu is quite small but when the rib eye is as good as this, why does it need to be bigger?! The sides were great and the portion sizes of the chips fantastic. Great service too, going out of their way to find a bottle of wine for us. Couldn’t recommend more.

In-House restaurant for the famous Macdonald Strathspey Resort in Aviemore. As one would expect, beef predominates on the Menu, but a selection of other Bistro type dishes are on offer too.
Portions are generous, and prices are not cheap, but not too expensive either. Food is excellent, and the service is very friendly.
Ambience is rustic cosy, as one would expect in the Highlands.
Excellent live Scottish music is also on offer some of the evenings.
If the prices were just *slightly* lower, this would get 5/5 stars.

Popular restaurant within the Macdonald Spey Valley Resort. Tables can be booked at reception and this is recommended particularly on a Friday/Saturday.
